3/5/2000 -
If you surf on over to the Mud2 Oddities bit and
let it load fully you'll get a weird noise
(assuming you've got speakers and a sound card,
and you're not deaf). I'm gonna try and find more
of these. And if you come back in five days
there'll be a new interview up.......with someone
very special.
Death Of
The Week Candidates
3/5/2000 -The
first two candidates for the next death of the
week have been sent in! And they're both corkers!
First up is Mara the Mage, who succumbed to the
dragon on Tuesday (not sure whether it was a
Hawumph or not yet - would certainly be funnier
if it was). The second candidate is for Superman
who was brown breaded by the Giant3 on Thursday.
<wince> So the highlives are having a hell
of a week so far....results will be put out on
Monday (8th).
Eric in
Gay Site Scandal <rofl> !
1/5/2000 -
Hee hee - have you signed my guestbook (and if
not why not?) yet? Well imagine how shocked I was
to find that some vulgar person has linked to a
gay porn site on it. I wasn't sure whether to
laugh or hurl at the thought of it (gg). I think
I'll leave it on for now, it's mildly amusing I
think. I wouldn't advise anyone clicking on the
link though - you never know what these sites
contain.
Webcams
and Wheelie Bins :)
1/5/2000 -
Hmm. After a four hour ICQ "chat" about
such engrossing topics mentioned above (and also
things like putting a big green number 4 outside
my house and the state of the council) at 2am
with my buddy Seamus (whilst NOT watching
the wrestling I hasten to add) I somehow managed
to persuade him to answer a few questions for the
site. He duly agreed. So click here and learn more about the man they call
the kilted one. Btw did anyone get this morning's
(5:30am) Countdown Conundrum? I couldn't do it.
Bah.

APRIL 2000 ---
Bwahahaha!
It's nearly done!
29/4/2000 -
Well after a busy few days (trying to organise a
trip to Birmingham to walk into a pub filled with
warriors and warlocks - didn't even manage to go
in the end - grrr) I've finally found an awards
gif. Only one for now, with more on the way
(basically I draw the letters on them hee hee).
Apart from that, and a piccie for the cottage
(someone must have one .....please.....) my site
will be "finished". My hit counter's
coming along great, so thanks to everyone who
refreshed the index page 10 times. Hehe. No, you
didn't really did you? What? Noooooo! Anyway I'm
still looking for screenshots and maybe a log
file or two (Big thanks to Hawumph for being the
only wiz kind enough to mail me so far - cheers)
yet. Right, off to the pub to watch some Queen
tribute band. And then stumble home at 2am just
in time to wake the neighbours with a staggering
(-ly bad) rendition of Bohemian
Rhapsody.<Sigh> I'd give my potential Fod
finger to be at the meet. (Why not? Got 7 more of
'em - using your thumb is so out of fashion these
days).
More
Awards! Yay !
29/4/2000 -
My first weekly (guffaw - more like "when I
remember") Death of the Week award is a
cruel one. Imagine if you will my friends. You're
on course for your first ever Warlock. Very close
as well. And then some hero comes along and cuts
you to shreds, making you a novice again. (Not
that bad, you get to drink nice tea...). Even
though he was the only one who bothered to submit
it (himself as well - takes guts) he would
probably have got it anyway for the death that
rivals Firefarter's escapade with the Hedgehog.
The man who keeps coming back for more
punishment, Eric's first "when I
remember" Death Of The Week goes
to......well click here to find
out.
Also this week sees Seamus picking up an
award for his efforts at a mage run. God knows he
tried hard. Obviously Seamus-pie was the tasty
morsel on the menu most of the month - that
Dragon ate it enough times. Keep going matey -
everyone's rooting for ya. I take my hat off to
you Sir.
This week's final award goes to my long suffering
friend Heiach. After many unlucky deaths
at sorcerer, this plucky fighter finally gets his
reward - a necromancer. Well done bud. Now don't
do what I did and die within the first week,
okay?
What goes
up must come down...
28/4/2000 -
What do you mean that those Graham and Brown TV
ads were rubbish? Hmm. Anyway me has uploaded
some cheap and tacky mud2-style wallpaper. Check
it out in my Mud2 oddities. Also me missed the
bash tonight because I got dragged out to watch
American Psycho at the flicks. Was very good. Bit
gory but hilarious all the same. I thought the
ending was a bit crap though (Johnathan Ross-
pah!) but worth watching if you can get to it.
Might start a "reasons why Eric missed yet
another bash" list. <mutters>

28/4/2000 -
Well I've decided to do a regular interview
section with loads of well-known people. Lined up
so far is Rocko. Maybe Seamus (what do you mean I
haven't asked you yet? hehe) and Morloc too.
Don't feel left out if I haven't asked you cos I
will. Probably. If you're nice to me (just
kidding folks!). I'm on the lookout for newbies
or pk's as well.
Cora
Contemplates Quitting!
28/4/2000 -
Wife of maniac and all round cool girl Cora has
announced a shock decision to quit the game for
personal reasons. Everyone who knows here is
upset and I've decided to run a SAVE OUR
CORA thing. If she realises just how
well liked she is then maybe, just maybe, she'll
stay. Put your pleas on the bb forum here.
Remember
Charlie? Ahem.
28/4/2000 -
I found 'em! In between scouring the net at 4 in
the morning for the vain hope of getting me some
cool awards gifs for my site, I stumbled across
the very reason my site was here (please don't
hurt him too much hehe). A BILLY JOEL
site! With MIDI's galore and
even some quality MP3's (ssshh).
Check Jaycee's site out here). Go for
Goodnight Saigon at a whopping 6.4MB. Worth every
byte.
Brock Rock
n' Beats
28/4/2000
-After that shockingly bad headline what
could this possibly be about? Well me old chum
Brocken has done some great work with his
screenshots page for this site! Check it out
under my Mud2 oddities bit. It puts the rest of
the site to shame it really does. Good news is
he's in the middle of writing a column for me :0)
Newbies
Guide Uploaded!
23/4/2000
- Okay guys I've uploaded some of my new
"newbie guide". Check it out!
First
award goes to....
22/4/2000
- Okay I've decided that the first award
I give should be the "Gone but not
forgotten" award to our dear missed
friend Llysfaen. May the stars shine on her
shoes. (Or erm. may she be happy in whatever she
does in life, if you want to be unromantic about
it). We'll miss ya matey.
Forum in
Quiz uproar!
22/4/2000
- For those who don't know, there is a
Mud2 Forum on the Gameplay site. Try here. Lately
there has been a good discussion about sharing
information for treasure and whatever. It's
pretty interesting and everyone's had a say. Now
The Dragon has restarted his quiz on his website
(which is here) and
everyone is arguing on the forums about whether
the answers should be given, because it might
give people information. It doesn't matter now
anyway because the deadline for the first one has
passed. I got my results before and came in at an
excellent 16th. Ahem. Out of 17. With the
17th placed person getting the same score. 26%.
So I really came last (gg). The only Wireplay
players who did the quiz came last.....and last.
Oh no! Still I'm sure I'll get more on the next
one! Participate here.
Bwahahaha!
He's fell into my trap!
22/4/2000
- The site is coming along nicely thank you. I've
made little fiddly changes here and there (fixing
links etc) and Brocken's agreed to help do it!
He's got some great ideas that I think will go
down a treat. Keep checking back here guys.

New Mud2 Website Shocker!
22/4/2000 - Okay
today I signed up for this free site. I don't
know why I did it really. I hadn't really thought
about it before (you can probably tell..gg) and
did it spur of the moment whilst browsing the net
for some Billy Joel midi's. Ahem. I guess that
over the next few days I'll design this site a
lot more and get some images from somewhere (yay
- Brocken's back!). That's it really. I'll live
to regret it, I know (grin).
Incidentally, if you've got any Billy Joel
midi's I'd appreciate them as I never did manage
to look for any (this was the first site I
tried...gg).
