The
Touchstone.
The Cave of Stars high in the
North Mountain is a very dangerous place. It
contains the most potent thing in all the land -
the touchstone. If touched, you will recieve
magical powers and the ability to cast all manner
of weird and wonderful spells. This comes at a
deadly price however. There is a chance that the
touchstone will kill you. No matter what. Even
the wizzes do not have power over it. The lower
the level you are, the more chance you will die.
A general rule of thumb is to wait till you are
the level of Champion before attempting to touch
this stone. Some however dare to touch it at
lower levels. Sometimes you can be lucky. Not
often though.

Invaluable
In-Game Commands.
To get the best out of this game
there are a few commands that you should learn.
For each one I've given the syntax and the
meaning. If you are still unsure about any of
them then mail me.
Download them

The Most Important
Thing to Remember.
The best help you can get is in
the actual game. There is a library of help files
just waiting for you to read them. Although I
didn't when I first started, I soon went back and
read over them. They are written by the maker of
the game Dr Richard Bartle and not by someone
dumb like me!

The Dragon
For newbies, there isn't much you
need to know about the dragon, as she's hard to
get to. There's only one way you can stumble
across it but as a newbie it's extremely
unlikely. Ms Dragon is the hardest mobile in the
game. If it attacks you then you're dead. If you
flee, you'll get roasted. If it gets you, scream
for help. If you're extremely lucky a kind wiz
might help you out. Might that is. Don't quote me
on that. :0)

The
Cottage
The best place for newbies I
think. Lots to do here and even some mobiles to
chop up. I loved it when I first arrived, reading
all the books and getting the groat from the
bathroom (Hmm, it looks a bit dirty though...).
The cellar is off limits for total newbies
though. It's pretty dangerous.
